TOURNAMENT  Information and REGISTRATION FORM  

You are cordially invited to compete at this years 2010 TKO State Championship. Because you may be a seeded player, it is important for you turn your points in. Once received all point tabulations are posted on the website at www.WayneNguyen.com. Please verify your points before January 22,  2011, points will no longer be accepted. Points can be mailed or email at TKO_Karate@yahoo.com

To qualify, each competitor must compete and earn points at any karate tournament that is sanctioned by T.K.O. A competitor who places in the top 8 places at a T.K.O. rated event receives points toward the rating. A competitor can accumulate points in sparring, forms, weapons, grappling and self-defense. The state tournament is open to anyone regardless of being a T.K.O. member; however, all T.K.O. members will be eligible to be seeded (placed in a preferred position of competition) at the state finals. Non seeded competitors will be seeded as wild card players. The winner of the wild card players will then advance with the seeded players to compete for the state title. We will be using AOK rules (With Some Modifications) for the T.K.O. state finals.

If you are have points.  Please provide the following information:

1st   = 12 points
2nd  = 10 points
3rd   =   8 points
4th - 8th = 6 points

Example:

Big D Nationals-  Specialty: 3rd, Forms: 1st, Sparring:  3rd
Texas Showdown-  Specialty: 1st, Forms:2nd, Sparring: 3rd

Forms Total: 22   Specialty Total:  20    Sparring Total:  16

Attach points along with your registration.  Points must be received no later than January 20, 2010.  Once received, you can check your points
